I am over 18Join an iconic Brisbane bistro renowned for its vibrant breakfast and lunch service, operating seven days a week, and hosting bespoke weddings year-round. We take pride in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including produce from our own kitchen garden, while building strong relationships with local farmers and suppliers.
We are seeking a Head Chef to lead our high-volume kitchen, drive culinary creativity, and showcase the best of seasonal ingredients. This role is ideal for a Sous Chef ready to take the next step or an existing Head Chef. This role offers a lifestyle opportunity, with most evenings off, while still crafting exceptional culinary experiences. Experience with a wood-fired oven is highly desirable.

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a senior chef in a high-volume café or restaurant.
Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and mentor a dynamic kitchen team.
Expertise in wages, rostering, and cost control to manage kitchen operations effectively.
A commitment to upholding the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
Creativity and innovation to drive menu development and enhance the dining experience.
Ability to manage food and labour costs in line with business goals.
A collaborative approach to fostering a positive and professional kitchen environment.
Attention to detail in maintaining consistent quality control.
Experience working with a wood-fired oven is highly desirable.
